I absolutely loved the service, atmosphere, and food at this restaurant. I traveled to Tucson specifically to try it out, and it did not disappoint! The experience felt very authentic and brought back memories of our time in Turkey. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast spread, which featured several additional breakfast items. I will definitely be returning!
Love their food and location, ambience. But to be looked at and passed by server who seated us 4 times and he never even brought water…. We left, never to return.
Great food, wonderful owners and waiters. Will definitely try again. Can't speak enough good!
The delicious food is Turkish now (the former owner served Iraqi food and it was delicious too). We really enjoyed sharing the mezze plate, a kaleidoscope of flavors! The lentil soup was clearly made with a rich long-simmered homemade chicken stock. The ayran was thick and cool and refreshing. The staff will make you feel welcome, true Turkish hospitality! At the end of our meal they brought us complimentary tea in little tulip glasses, and we felt encouraged to linger. The location is at the very back of the Geronimo plaza, shaded by mature trees. It's very quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely outdoor Sunday dinner here. There was a big group at a long table when we arrived, eating, enjoying a hookah and drinking tea. They were still there when we left; what a lovely thing, to while away a spring afternoon among friends like that! Seriously, we felt like we had taken a little trip to Turkey. We look forward to returning with friends and trying more of the menu.
