Arizona Inn Audubon - Tucson
Arizona Inn Audubon
Description
Nestled in the heart of Arizona, the historic Arizona Inn is a charming yet weary establishment that leaves guests with mixed feelings. While the property boasts its rich legacy and beautifully landscaped grounds, many reviews highlight the need for modernization. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms and pleasant ambiance, but frustrations arise over musty odors, lack of attentive service, and diminished amenities, such as limited food and drink options. Despite its old-world charm and a few standout culinary experiences, including exceptional cocktails and breakfast, there’s a consensus that the inn must rejuvenate to reclaim its former glory.

A lovely and quaint historic inn providing a serene retreat. There was no loud noise when we stayed there. Rooms are casita-style spread over 14 acres of well- landscaped grounds. Rooms are well-appointed with quality, traditional furnishings. Amenities include a pool (heated in winter), sauna, fitness room, badminton, tennis, croquet, pingpong, and bicycles. There are 2 dining rooms, one is seasonal. Great place for a staycation.
Had a fairly expensive 1 night stay here. The price did not match the room or accommodations. Our first room smelled very bad (old dirty cat liter? Moved to another room, smell was less, but still did not smell good, after the second room we decided to just sleep our night out, and won't be coming back.Noteworthy details: Hotel is very old and has history, but in desperate need of some modernizing.
The omelettes were wonderful so filling. The service was lacking, the young man that served us was not attentive at all. Our toast was all burnt. I hate to return food but next time I will. It is so rude to serve burnt toast to people that are paying good money for the food.Noteworthy details: The have a very nice gift shop. The things they sell are unique. I will definitely be back to shop for gifts.
This is one of the best hotels I've ever visited. The grounds are stunning, the service is exceptional, and it truly feels like an oasis compared to chain hotels. We always make it a point to stay here whenever we're in Tucson.
I worked for them back in the day. Family owned. It was an honor. Arizona is known for its gangsta activity. Must be the inner G in me. Historic. Proper. Appropriate. Established. Polished. The Azul glasses ? are just gorgeous I can never forget them. It's like the scandal ? if you've had to much banners across the way. Truly a children's place. Bear ? down ? AZul
