The setting from the patio is beautiful. The views are serene and the staff is kind. We originally were going to have some Happy hour drinks then return for dinner later, but ended up just staying the whole time and dining at the restaurant after happy hour. The server was very kind and accommodating, if not always 100% accurate with our orders. The food was yummy and the atmosphere was relaxing. For dessert the churros were delicious.
Extremely disorganized. From the start they didn’t know who we were and it took too long to get seated. The server took 30 minutes to return every time she left the table. Drinks were very inconsistent and generally not good. My $39 fillet was not even 3 ounces of meat and overcooked. Side items were not good. 2 stars is GENEROUS!
We had our New Year’s dinner here and we were expecting something great like we had last year in the Gold Room. We thought we were booked for the Gold Room again, but they took us to the Lookout which has a bar atmosphere, the vents were on full blast with no warmth and we were cold. We were not allowed to change our seating because of reservations. The special was surf and turf at $55. The prime rib was so tough my husband could not eat it. The waitress came by at the start of the meal, but didn’t come again til we were done. We told her about the prime rib and she offered a dessert for free. We took it but would have preferred a reduced price. When we were leaving there were very few tables filled and a long waiting list. This was such a let down from our 2022 New Years experience.
Just my wife and me, escaping the hubbub of our busy house for a dinner getaway during the holidays. It was very pleasant, fairly quiet, and the food was great. Service was excellent too. A very nice dinner out.
