I'm actually working there I haven't actually eaten any other food but I can say that one of the staff members yesterday decided to lie about something that was so trivial
I had the Gyro. It wasn't sliced steak in the gyro though something like a sausage steak patty was in its place. I wasn't feeling the meat but the rest of the gyro was good! The roasted vegetables were fire Hella good! I took an all American burgerhome for my kid and he devoured it! Oh...they have these little rosemary rolls, and those are good too! Nice cafe, local art isbeing displayed and sold at the cafe. Nice ambiance.
I ordered a Greek salad with chicken added. The salad looked lovely, but the chicken was dry and rubbery. Sadly, the feta cheese was missing as well. The homemade rosemary roll was flavorful, though it would have been nicer if served warm. The toast on the club sandwich was tough and over-toasted. I’m willing to give Café 54 another try, as it may have just been an off day for them.
Very laid back and chill atmosphere with kind people. I work here, so I'm starting to really love my job here.
I ordered the gyro, expecting sliced steak, but it came with a sausage patty-like filling, which I didn’t enjoy. That said, the rest of the gyro was delicious! The roasted vegetables were exceptional—full of flavor! I also took home an all-American burger for my child, and he really loved it. Plus, their rosemary rolls are fantastic! Overall, Café 54 is a charming spot with local art on display and for sale, adding to a wonderful atmosphere.
