We purchased the New Year's eve special for BarBata (in the basement), which included 3 glasses of champagne for 3 time zones' count downs. However, it was just a coupon for three glasses of champagne whenever you wanted them. There was no attempt to have a countdown, or even a clock. The bar was cool, but didn't feel like New Years, it just felt like date night on a Friday. I wish there was some attempt at making th... View all feedback.
What AdamF doesn't like about Bata:
The flavors were outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was delightful. However, despite the high-quality ingredients, it’s difficult to rationalize the price. Our dinner for two, including drinks, dessert, and tip, came to just under $200, and we still felt a bit hungry afterward. Everything was indeed very good, but I'm not entirely convinced it was worth the $200. View all feedback.
Absolutely fantastic! The perspective is truly one-of-a-kind. The food is simply delicious! It may appear straightforward, but it's clearly anything but. The service is excellent. I can't wait to return! And just to clarify, I'm not a Russian bot or the restaurant owner!

The food was decent, but the plates were quite small and the prices were high. However, the wine was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely.
Great experience! Did the tasting menu. Sat at the bar. Got an amazing explanation and service of all the dishes and their process. Super friendly staff. Jackson and the other kitchen team members were so wonderful. Jusuf’s mushroom skewer was so interesting and umami bomb. Michael’s halibut was luscious. Savanna’s dessert items were to die for. Highly recommend this experience!
The concept can be fun, but the sauces in our various dishes were too similar and trying too hard, so that when mixed together on the same plate, the sauces were not particularly good. We are relatively adventurous diners, living in France 6 months of the year, eating often in Michelin starred restaurants in Europe, and traveling elsewhere. Our first impression of the menu was that nothing WOWed us. Carrots in two sauces, porc and beef dolma with sauces…. All was good, just not wow!
