Absolutely fantastic! The perspective is truly one-of-a-kind. The food is simply delicious! It may appear straightforward, but it's clearly anything but. The service is excellent. I can't wait to return! And just to clarify, I'm not a Russian bot or the restaurant owner!
The flavors were outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was delightful. However, despite the high-quality ingredients, it’s difficult to rationalize the price. Our dinner for two, including drinks, dessert, and tip, came to just under $200, and we still felt a bit hungry afterward. Everything was indeed very good, but I'm not entirely convinced it was worth the $200.
Great experience! Did the tasting menu. Sat at the bar. Got an amazing explanation and service of all the dishes and their process. Super friendly staff. Jackson and the other kitchen team members were so wonderful. Jusuf’s mushroom skewer was so interesting and umami bomb. Michael’s halibut was luscious. Savanna’s dessert items were to die for. Highly recommend this experience!
The concept can be fun, but the sauces in our various dishes were too similar and trying too hard, so that when mixed together on the same plate, the sauces were not particularly good. We are relatively adventurous diners, living in France 6 months of the year, eating often in Michelin starred restaurants in Europe, and traveling elsewhere. Our first impression of the menu was that nothing WOWed us. Carrots in two sauces, porc and beef dolma with sauces…. All was good, just not wow!

The service was outstanding, and the selection of unique and delicious vegetables was among the best I've ever experienced. With such a wide variety of fresh options, they truly can't go wrong with their menu. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal in Tucson.
We have visited Bata several times, and each meal has been exceptional in every way. The food is both delicious and inventive, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely.
We shared five dishes, each uniquely special and incredibly delicious! Every dish was bursting with complex flavors and joy. Although it might seem at first glance that the portions are small, that's definitely not the case! Sharing our meals and eating slowly allowed us to fully enjoy everything, and by the end, we felt pleasantly full and thoroughly satisfied.
Dined with BATA in celebration for my 40th. Was unsure of what to expect but wow were we pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed some exceptional cocktails and our server Abby was an absolute pleasure. She guided us through our experience as first time diners at the restaurant and we truly enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered. The beef cheek skewers were delicious and so savory. The tuna crudo was bright and refreshing. The butternut squash was a surprising delight with delicious smoky flavors and a good bit of heat from jalapeños. The deconstructed s’more plated with a dark chocolate “Happy Birthday” was unexpected and a lovely treat to end the meal on. All that being said, it is really more of an experience than just a meal and that experience comes with a price. Highly recommend for special occasions.
