Emperors Palace - Tuam
Emperors Palace
Description
A recent name change from "The Emperors Palace" to "Xi’an Street Food" hasn't improved the quality of food at this restaurant. Dishes are described as oily, tasteless, and disappointing. Service is also less than satisfactory, with mistakes in orders being a common occurrence. However, Mays Place bakery stands in stark contrast, offering amazing pastries and breads, much to the delight of customers. French patrons in particular rave about the croissants and petit pains. Friendly staff and excellent treats make Mays Place a must-visit establishment, bringing joy to those with a sweet tooth or a love for good coffee.

After arriving at Shannon Airport, I stopped by May's Place in Tuam for a quick snack. The muffins and pastries were incredibly tasty, and I enjoyed my first ever 'dirty chai' coffee, which paired perfectly with the chai flavor. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I was truly impressed by the delicious bread at Emperors Palace. Well done, and thank you for the exceptional quality!
I absolutely love Emperors Palace! The ingredients are of the highest quality, the pastries are delicious, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. As a French person, I can honestly say it’s rare to find pastries this good even back home. I highly recommend visiting this bakery—they truly deserve your support!
The bread, coffee, and pastries at Emperors Palace are absolutely outstanding! The sourdough is the best I've ever tasted, and the goat cheese with red onion marmalade pastry is irresistible. Their coffee is superb, and the Chai is equally delightful. Don’t miss a visit to this place—friendly staff and delicious treats await you!
