We arrived when they were preparing to close, but the St... read more While at a Rugby match in Tuam, visiting from Ck on Shannon a parent from our group recommended Gather. We arrived when they were preparing to close, but the Staff member welcomed in. We had our dog with us and the offered to serve us in an area suitable for pets. As Bob had been out for the lenght of time for two matches we decided to let him rest. The service was prompt, courteous and helpful. The food was astonishing, such a High standard. At one point we were served by the chef/owner, who took the time to acknowledge us, chat about the why's, what's and where's. And extremely gracious host, her staff reflected that as well. Keeping a high quality good food premises open in a rural town must be a nightmare (business wise). I just can't say enough good things about this establishment and the experience. Thanks Gather. Lovely atmosphere... read more Lunch today in Gather(courtesy of my friend Áine) was a rare treat! My first time in this lovely restaurant on a seldom enough visit to Tuam. Lovely atmosphere from the moment we entered, without a reservation. Although the restaurant was pretty full, the very pleasant staff sorted us quickly at a lovely table. Service was non intrusive but very efficient, the menu exciting and high end.....definitely a Ballymaloe vibe.....local seasonal ingredients prepared in dynamic ways and presented beautifully! Everything tasted wonderful! Gorgeous shop adjoining restaurant packed with Irish produced culinary gems. What a find! Go Gather!! Keep up the good work, everyone here. You're doing a great job!! Will definitely be back!

I visited for lu... read more This place stands out with its unique and cozy atmosphere, setting it apart from the typical restaurants you'll find in Ireland, in my opinion. I visited for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of options, making it difficult to choose. The flavors were exceptional, and my wife shared the same sentiment. We spent approximately 50 euros for a meal for two adults and one child, and every cent was well worth it due to the fantastic experience. I highly recommend it!
