Food was good and quick service. We both had beer battered fish and chips with a beer each. Very reasonable price and service was excellent. If your in downtown Truro definitely check out this restaurant! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Bubba Ray's:
A fairly large Group of us were in Truro on business. We all trooped over from the Hotel for a bite to eat. Bubba Ray's is much like any other sports bar. As the name implies, there is alcohol, sports on televisions and food. The 4 of us had gone on a nice walk in the beautiful park in Truro and then were looking for something to eat after 8:00. There were limited choices other than fast food but found this place and fortunately got there just before several others. Service was great and food(wing night) came quite quickly but by the time we left this fairly quiet place was bustling with customers, activity and noise so we left but overall was a good place to eat.
Food (chowder, fish & chips, burger, rueben) were fair at best. Wait staff hustled, but did not keep up well with the Friday night crowd. Chowder had cooled somewhat, appetizers came at same time as entrees, one order was incomplete. No bartender on duty so wait staff had to make drinks which slowed service even more.
Great wings but a bit pricey. Good service and seating. Some nice lunch specials though. Sports on the big screen.
The beer is affordable and the food is decent (nothing fancy, just typical sports bar fare.) It's a great spot to catch a game. The atmosphere is inviting and clean.
