The menu features many cooked rolls, which is particularly enjoyable after a day of skiing on a chilly winter evening. I recommend trying the hot sake along with a few refreshing cold sakes. While the staff is friendly, the service can be a bit slow compared to sushi bars in larger cities. So, take your time, unwind, and enjoy your meal. The miso soup and sake usually come out quickly, but the sushi may take 15 minutes or more, depending on the crowd. There’s also a TV that might be showing sports, which seems to be a recent addition. The space is small, with tightly arranged tables and stools at the sushi bar. If it’s busy, be prepared to wait for a table. Overall, I'd rate it 3 stars, but it could be a solid 4 for Truckee standards.
