The receptionist 's handling was terrible. When we arrived 10 minutes before my reservation, there was no one at the reception desk, so I asked a nearby staff member for help and was told to wait for 10 minutes. We waited but was not approached, and later-arriving guests were seated before us. We had an excellent dinner at PlumpJack. After years of eating at overpriced and mediocre (at best) restaurants on the lake, we decided to give PlumpJack a try. What it lacks in views of the lake, it more than makes up for in food quality presentation, service, cocktails and wine. Great for a date night or special occasion. My new go-to in N. Lake Tahoe.
Best experience in Squaw Valley. The food, the ambiance, the wine selection. Unmatched.
We sat on the outside deck. The weather was perfect and our waiter Garrett and his assistant were fantastic. Our dinner was delicious.
Wait staff was terrific, meal was delicious, outside dinning could have been enhanced. I will definitely be back. Loved staying at the Plumpjack and the service and dinner was the best in the area.
