For the prices that we paid I th... read more The place is charming and the decor is excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and worked hard. But the food was just so-so. For the prices that we paid I think that the food should have been much better. I had the teriyaki chicken. What I got was a small pile of chicken with some sauce. My wife ordered shrimp scampi. 4 pieces of shrimp and some noodles. Good thing that there was a salad bar. The lettuce seemed a little old but it was good enough to make a nice salad. I will always support a local business but it will be a while before I attempt to eat at the sliver spur again.

Haven't eaten at the Spur in forever. Decided to get the warm roast beef sandwich, which turned out to be a lot less sandwich than I thought it was going to be. Lol. The mashed potatoes had several big chunks of potato that weren't mashed and were a bit hard. (Not a huge deal) Overall I found it to taste decent, though a bit bland. It also came with a soup (burger soup) which tasted pretty ok as well despite also being a bit bland tasting. The food was just ok but definitely NOT worth $15! Imo.
