Feedback
This was my first visit, and overall it wasn't too bad. The burger was nicely seasoned, which I enjoyed. However, the wings were disappointing; they had no seasoning at all. It felt like they just threw them in the oven, added some sauce, and served them up. A little garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, and a touch of chili powder before cooking would have made a significant difference. On a positive note, my sister's pizza looked fantastic!
Waited 25 minutes for the water. Restaurant is 1/4 full. What are you so busy with running around ..?
Unfortunately, the negatives overshadowed the positives. I experienced poorly executed dishes for both appetizers and entrees two days in a row. For instance, the cheese curds had an awful overpowering garlic flavor that ruined them, whereas they could have been quite enjoyable if left unflavored. The Asiago chicken could have been tasty, but it was drenched in a watery, unappetizing three-cheese sauce. Despite the disappointing food, I left a 15% tip both days and insisted on paying full price, even though all the food except the fries was inedible. I provided friendly feedback to the waitress about the flavors, but her lackluster response was that the cheese curds come pre-flavored and there’s nothing they could do. I disagreed and suggested they consider using unflavored curds, which could have earned them an extra star from me. It’s hard to mess up cheese curds, yet somehow they did. Other issues included a burger that fell apart inexplicably and chicken tenders that were mostly just breading. For comparison, Chick-fil-A tenders are a 9.5/10, while the tenders here were a mere 2/10. Perhaps I should have tried the more expensive appetizers instead of the cheaper ones.
Small beer selection but staff was friendly and was able to watch the tigers game from the bar
