Parrot Cove - Troy
Parrot Cove
Description
The restaurant offers a mixed experience for its customers, from delightful fish and chips to the worst burrito ever tasted. Despite the hit or miss entrees, the service is consistently good. While the menu has a variety of options and the food quality is generally excellent, some patrons are put off by fluctuating prices and disappointing margaritas. However, there are shining moments, such as perfectly cooked dishes like the bacon cheeseburger and the delicious fish and chips. Overall, it seems like the establishment has both loyal fans and disappointed customers, making it a mixed bag of experiences for diners.

I have dined at Parrot Cove before, but this time there was a mix-up with the reservation time. Open Table had the reservation set for 2:30, but the restaurant doesn't open until 3pm. Despite this issue, my overall experience at Parrot Cove was fantastic.
Love the food and service. It's really loud in here, even when there's only 4 people in the place.
I ordered the Rubin and it was a large sandwich. Fries that it came with were great! Will go back again. I ate most of my food, but this is half of my sandwich. Cash only, so remember to bring some.Food: 5/5
Awesome food. Hidden gem that anybody loving near must try at least once! We had a prime and coconut shrimp at it was AMAZING
Where do I start with this place? Quite possibly the worst margarita I have ever had the displeasure of tasting. It was so bad I could only take 3 sips, and left it on the table.I mean, if your whole identity is margaritas, why are you serving me chi-chi's mix with poor quality tequila? Lesson learned, there are too many places that have actual good drinks and I will be going to where the margaritas aren't yellow and taste like rubbing alcohol and salt. Oh and be forewarned, this place only takes cash or venmo.
