Couldn't use my Capital One card here; only Norwegian bank cards ? are accepted. : I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, which was overly salty for me. It was seasoned well, just maybe a bit much. The fries chips that it came with were seasoned with paprika, which was okay. The kebab my friend got looked like the much better option.

Located on a can't miss spot (the red cone building Studentersamfundet , Sesam has been serving hungry students queueing for events and after parties for years. When I celebrate I go to Sesam. When my lab experiments break down and I feel angry, I go to Sesam. Objectively though, Sesam is indeed better than the mediocre burger/kebab standards of Trondheim, and one of the few who serves real beef patties (not the highest quality beef, but still . You can size up or down the amount of beef up to 250gr(? , and select different toppings. Tourists will probably wonder what's so special about Sesam. But to some Trondhjemmers, Sesam is as close to their hearts as Mama's own cooking. XXXXX

The best burgers for your hungry and not entirely sober 2 AM self, though. Nothing beats Sesam at 2 AM! ... which is why there WILL be a line stretching out of the joint and onto the street.
