Apart from the excellent food, the location and view really captures the vibe of an northern Norwegian restaurant. The service is very good, meals are served relatively quick and the staff are polite and professional. One of the best and highest regarded restaurants in Tromsø, highly recommended.

Same price, but so much better in food quality. Now the details: The bread was served with packed butter. It seems cheap. But the bread was okay. We ordered our food on paper strips where we specified how we like the meat. I rarely ordered a medium and would say that a medium made good when we are generous. It was also a bit dry and the meat quality was far below what we tasted in Skarven Biffhuset. That was meat that cost 40€ for 300g. I expect more. The salad bar (which you have to pay to use) somehow did not look fresh. I snapped into a picture, see below. Upstairs, not complain about the service, but nothing is beyond it. The experience led us not to order coffee and desert because we felt underwhelmed again. If prices were 30% lower, it would be okay, but price: quality ratio is just not worth your money.
