The vegetarian platter was amazing and the red snapper smoked on mango wood was the best fish I've ever had. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

It was a misty monsoon evening and the path to this place, winding around a lagoon, was enchanting.The restaurant itself, is straight out of a fishing village with thatched roof and fishing nets. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocky shore is music to the ears. The place offers beautiful views of the sunset at Kovalam. The restaurant food is delectable and service (our gracious hosts, Abhishek and Anil) impeccable. A must visit place at Taj Kovalam.

The pizza oven gets turned down at 9pm so even if you ask 5 mins prior to 9 you will be out of luck and brutally refused even though the restaurant closing time is 10.30 pm. Very unlike the Taj service, otherwise the food is good.
