What Anonym dislikes about Da Bartolomeo:
suggestive location and excellent quality products. the two stars are the result of an extremely slow service: 1 hour a quarter for two meat appetizers. In addition, the open kitchen would require more attention. In these cases, at least one coffee would be a welcome gesture. View all feedback.

Lovely place overlooking the green of a hill, all sealed by the wonderful scenery of the palace. good food and good wine. What more do you want?

One of the best restaurants in Tuscany for sure. The setting is just incredible and the food delicious. Gluten free options in addition (pasta, bread). Parking advice: before to get into the village there is a parking on the right and then take the stairs to the restaurant. Otherwise you will be surprised to drive between walls with 5cm left on each side of your car...

We visited Da Bartolomeo in the end of September. The place is very nice, especially if the weather is good and you manage to dine outside (we didn't . The service was also very friendly but slow (only one waiter for all the tables . First dishes were typical of the area (various types of pecorino di Pienza, salumi etc. but their quality and their quantity was excellent. The big disappointment came when the main courses arrived, which were tasteless at best. Maybe the chef was in a bad mood that day : A special mention for the wine from their own winery, which was excellent.
