I'd expect something more from a slow food snag. the dishes are well executed but without being particularly exciting. Besides, the portions are a little miserable in relation to the cost. We had the... read more Outstanding food, even better service and a superlative ambiance. The food is true, authentic Italian. Not fancy. Just real, authentic and delicious. We had the Pici pasta, which tastes like a grandmother made it, the pesto pasta, which I could eat a whole pot of, and the ravioli, which was amazing. The secondi dishes are not fancy but true to their origin. We had the wild boar, lamb, and steak all were great. Wine list is complete and prices are reasonable. To top this off, the owner is hilarious, knowledgeable and present. His wait staff are awesome. And the pictures we took of the valley below are priceless and timeless. Everyone who knows food should come here. If only it wasn't so off the beaten path!

The fried lamb chops were a favorite among our group, as well as the steak tartar and the egg truffle pasta. It isn't over the top expensive or fancy but the nicest place in trequanda. Intimate feeling and light throughout restaurant. Traditional and doesn't try to hard. Very welcoming.
