We decided to order the banquet dinner from the menu, which was $50 per person for our party of four. The variety of food in the banquet was incredible, with the chef selecting each delicious item. We can't wait to visit again and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Our favorite dish, the octopus balls (tako yaki), was perfectly cooked and the best we have had at any Japanese restaurant. It was a delightful discovery in a small town like Traralgon.

The dessert was just as delicious. The service was incredibly attentive and the staff were welcoming and friendly. It was a wonderful surprise to discover this incredible Japanese restaurant in a small town. It has now become our standard for high-quality Japanese cuisine.

There are two Japanese restaurants in Traralgon, the other one is good but very much a franchise restaurant... If you want authentic fresh delicious Japanese then A Red Dot is where you go, there is no comparison. On top of the food being the best Japanese in Gippsland, the service is amazing, the atmosphere is great, very clean and simple just how they do it in Japan. You will not regret dining at this restaurant, the only thing I wish was different is I wish they were still open for lunch!
