W... read more Restaurant was recommended and reviews seemed good. Instead already from ordering wine to end was the dinner disappointing. Waiter was rude and disinterested. We ordered a good bottle of wine and specifically asked it to be well chilled. It arrived not chilled and waiter just put an ice jacket on it. We then called the proprietor and asked for a bucket with ice. The antipasti were ok, nothing special. What was not up to standards was the Cous cous (very little fish, sauce and badly combined and the involtini di pesce spada (a Sicilian classic was dry and overcooked. We didn’t take dessert as we preferred to avoid yet another disappointment

Located in the historic old town, many cafes, restaurants shops along the streets adjacent and only a short walk to the port area.

Manuel our waiter was excellent with very good English. I would definitely like to return and would highly recommend.

From the start on ordering wine and asking it to be well chilled , waiter still brought wine that was not chilled and just put it in an iced sleeve. Obit after asking owner did they then bring us a bucket with ice. Waiter was rude and food not up to Sicilian standards, the pesce spada for the involtini di pesce which is a Sicilian classic was overcooked. Nothing special and we ate better at the Ballaro market and certainly paid less!

Amazing experience, the food was delicious and the service was excellent, very friendly and attentive staff.
