Description

Tucked into the Crag Caves attraction, this cafe-style food court offers affordable, generous portions and a compact menu of standout items—goat cheese crostini, a much-praised chicken burger, sourdough toasties and a comforting seafood chowder—plus an excellent dessert selection including waffles, crepes and the popular “Crag Hottie.” Friendly staff, spotless restrooms, plentiful free parking and peaceful outdoor seating amid greenery make it a relaxed lunch stop. Be aware the photos can be misleading: it’s part of the attraction’s food court, not a standalone fine-dining restaurant.

The photos are quite misleading. This place isn't a restaurant; it's actually the food court of the Cave Attraction. While that's not necessarily a bad thing, it certainly isn't conveyed in the images. There are many families with kids around, which isn’t an issue, but it doesn't provide the dining experience we anticipated based on the name and pictures. The food is primarily fast food and acceptable for a quick bite, but once again, it doesn’t qualify as restaurant-quality food. Rating: 1.

A hidden gem! This has become my family's new favorite spot for lunch. We go every Saturday and have always been impressed by the delicious food and exceptional service. The outdoor seating area is peaceful and serene, surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers that create a unique and calming atmosphere. While the menu isn’t extensive, the dishes they offer are quite impressive, including goat cheese crostini, a chicken burger, and sourdough toasties, among others. The prices are very reasonable, with most items ranging from $8.95 to $10.95. My personal favorites are the chicken burger and the toasted special! I was amazed by the quality of the food; the chicken burger surpasses those I’ve had in four- or five-star hotels! You can really taste the freshness of each ingredient, and the coleslaw and salad were surprisingly delicious—definitely not something I usually finish. The portions are generous too, which is a lovely bonus. Their dessert menu is fantastic, featuring a wide range of waffles and crepes along with classic desserts like meringues, cheesecakes, and brownies. The "Crag Hottie" is also a delightful treat—a warm cookie paired with soft serve ice cream. Another highlight of this place is the wonderful staff! They are always friendly and chatty during my visits. Plus, the restrooms are very clean and well-maintained, which is a huge plus; it’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the entire establishment hygienic. If you're in the area, definitely give it a try!
