The captain crunch french toast did not taste like captain crunch and the egg frittata had guacamole on it insteadof avocado as stated on the menu. I wouldn?t come here again as it?s overpriced for the quality of food.

This place has great potential; great service, great location. However, we were extremely disappointed by the quality of the food. I ordered the cast iron chicken with risotto, but they were both drenched in vegetable juice, giving boththe risotto and the chicken a heavy spinach-like taste. In addition, the chicken was quite a bit undercooked with the interiorbeing very pink. Shortly after eating this meal, I was already feeling sick. We also ordered the salmon with rice, both hadlittle to no seasoning, no taste, very bland. Overall, appetizers and soups were good, but the entrees were very disappointingand undercooked chicken is obviously a good safety concern. For $30 entrees we would have expected more.

We had my mother-in-laws celebration of life service there on Sunday. The food was incredible, the staff was awesome. We didn't have to worry about anything, they took such great care of us! I brought in sugar cookies from a local bakery, mymother-in-laws favorite, they took the cookies and put them on a platter for us. The attention to detail was wonderful. I wouldstrongly recommend the Towson Tavern.

I decided to skip dessert, but my colleague enjoyed a delicious chocolate ice cream. I gave Towson Tavern four stars because the turkey club, while tasty, was a basic dish that is easy to make.
