The tomato plate was simpl... read more As I've grown as a home chef, I find it harder to be inspired by food. But damn if Cunninghams didn't do it. Super fresh ingredients. The tomato plate was simple but so good. Dumplings were bursting with flavor. Chicken dish was delicious and the pork chop was fantastic. Jalepeno bread things were amazing. We'll probably just order a bunch of apps and one entre next time just to cover more ground. Expensive but worth it. Also need to mention waiter Noah. Spot on with his recommendations. Attentive without being intrusive. Service felt like a discussion between people with similar interests rather than a job being done. Hopefully you can get him for your meal, though I'm sure all of the staff is good at what they do.

A few people at our table were interested in the Brussels sprouts, but they had run out, which I took as a sign that they must be delicious! For appetizers, we ordered dry-rubbed wings, truffle fries, and pork-shrimp dumplings, all of which were amazing. For my main course, I had the 12oz NY strip served with creamed spinach and onion rings. The steak was cooked to perfection. Other popular entrees at our table included shrimp and grits, crab cakes, and pork chop with salmon, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied with their meals. I also want to give a special shoutout to our waitress, Shannon. She truly excelled! Her personality was fantastic, and she had a great knowledge of the menu. We can't thank her enough for making our friend Nicole feel incredibly special on her birthday. Kudos to our server and this wonderful restaurant!

The atmosphere is prett... read more Definitely a favorite happy hour spot. For my people of color, you won't see many people of color (but that has not stopped me one bit). The atmosphere is pretty low key so no one cares that you're the only person of color enjoying yourself. Lol. Typically the crowd is older (and most definitely white). Happy Hour/Drinks I am a fan of sangria and their red sangria is probably my all time favorite. I also like their Dark and Stormy. These 2 are always my go to drink when I'm here though they do have a unique selection of cocktails and some craft beer options. The bartenders are always kind/friendly. Bedrooms/Decor Nothing to write home about but always clean. Overall the restaurant is chic, cute, and classy and I love it. Special note: Don't confuse the downstairs cafe with the upstairs restaurant. Definitely a different experience. I've done that before and was underwhelmed.

I had the mushroom and caramelized onion brick oven pizza. My dad had the crab cake with a veggie succotash (corn, tomatoes, etc). I wish his plate came with a carb. He ordered an extra crab cake because he's a big man with a big appetite. My pizza was about 10 inches. I'm filled. It was well seasoned and the crust was crispy but still chewable. I absolutely loved the way they made my Shirley temple with fresh dark juice and a fresh cherry. I'm not easily impressed by restaurant bread, but the bread basket was actually delightful. Some slices were made with seeds. The butter was good and soft. I just wish the bread was warm. The waiter Eric was fantastic and polite.
