After reading some reviews online, I was eager to try this restaurant. I decided to order the Philly cheesesteak from their vegan menu. When I went to pay, the cashier tried to charge me extra for vegan cheese. I mentioned that they had a menu item clearly labeled as vegan with cheese, so there should not be an additional charge. Despite this, I ended up receiving what was essentially a Beyond Sausage on a bun. Overall, I found the food to be bland and overpriced.
The staff informed us that none of the bread is suitable for vegans. However, there are vegan options available with lettuce.
I tried the vegan plant-powered wrap and the Impossible Philly at this restaurant. The wrap had a variety of ingredients listed, but unfortunately, most of them were overshadowed by a large sausage in the middle. I added extra peanut sauce on the side, but it was disappointing - chalky and lacking flavor. The Impossible Philly was unimpressive, with boring and unseasoned oily vegetables, although the vegan cheese was tasty. Overall, the vegan options only earned two stars from me. I would only consider ordering again if I had no other options.
