This past weeke... read more I have been going to the coast since I was a little girl…but I haven’t been able to visit in the past few years due to work and living far away. This past weekend myself and a group of friends went for the July 4th weekend. We dined at Blackbeard’s Cove Sunday night and let me tell you it was awesome. The food was sooo good. I had the platter with RAW Oysters (yum), deviled crab, grilled fish, grilled shrimp, with asparagus and twice baked potato.. I was in heaven!! The staff were super friendly and extremely on point with everything. The owner came and spoke with us for a few minutes, she is absolutely adorable. Such a great, laid-back atmosphere (we sat on the outside area). I’m so glad I experience Blackbeard’s Cove and will be back soon to visit there again. Great Place!

They also have a nice juke box. Return visit 12/16/23. Had another live band. Composition they were good. They inner acted with the crowd. Singing,dancing. We wanted to get some drinks and dinner with a good friend that lives out here, and she took us Blackbeards because she said it would be right up my alley, and boy was she right! I love this place! They had a live band that would take request, really good jello shots, pool tables, dart boards, and phenomenal food. I got a Jack Coke for $8 and it was the biggest Jack and coke I've ever gotten, well worth the $8 and it was the perfect mix of whiskey and coke! I got the Steak bites basket (medium rare) and I mean it was MOUTH WATERING! I will be driving 45 out here just for that! The staff was so friendly and so were the other bar goers.
