Reviews summary

Located in Canary Wharf, this pub offers a lively atmosphere and great value for money. With tasty food like pork ribs and a glass of cider for only 10 pounds, the bar area and dining space appeal to a diverse crowd. While traditional fish and chips disappointed one customer, regulars praise the wine selection, affordable prices, and cozy ambiance. The restaurant's beautiful decor, spacious interiors, quick service, and reasonable breakfast deals add to its charm. Despite higher prices on busy evenings, Wetherspoon's The Ledger Building remains a popular choice in London for a fun night out or a satisfying meal.

What can I say, set in a stunning Grade I listed building from 1802 in the West India docks at Canary Wharf, The Ledger is possibly the classiest Wetherspoons I’ve ever found myself in, and one of the first where the toilets are downstairs, not up three flights of stairs and round the back of Narnia! Food? It’s standard Wetherspoons grub, it’s not Michelin-starred, but it’s hot, tasty, and won’t have your wallet weeping. The drink selection’s solid, the prices are spot on, and the setting is an absolute gem. OK, so like most Wetherspoons I've been too the tables could be cleaned more often, but I'll cope. Extra points for being right next to the Docklands Museum , perfect if you’ve got kids in tow and need somewhere reliable (and affordable) to refuel after all that history hunting. All in all: old building, new appreciation for the humble ‘Spoons. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

The food at this restaurant is consistently reliable. During our visit to Canary Wharf, we enjoyed the nice selection of food and drinks. You can expect a consistent experience here.

I went to this restaurant for breakfast, not expecting much. Unfortunately, the food was even worse than I anticipated. The eggs were burnt and rubbery, the bacon looked slimy, and the hash browns were also burnt. I took pictures and filed a complaint online. They offered me a free meal as compensation, but I declined.

The unfortunate thing was steps up to the restaurant but they did get a ramp out for us to go in and to leave ordered and paid from the table the drinks coffee and hot chocolate were free refills Which was good and the machine was working another good point The meals came quite quickly and good portions

We were 9 happy mature ladies out for a birthday catch-up. We ordered our food and one of our friends dinner arrived which was quite frankly a joke. Fish n chips ordered by 2 ladies one really big (though full of batter) and one so small (still full of batter) it was barely noticeable on the plate and would not have fed a child. We asked if they could change it and was told by the Manager Tallon that it would be the same fish anyway so there was no point! . We asked to speak to the senior Manager and was told she was in a meeting and would not talk to us ! As he walked away he muttered to himself ‘ less of the attitude’. Wth? Where has customer service gone? To top it all off when we went to order another drink we were told they were not allowed to serve us!!!!

Being at one corner of canary wharf... This place is real value for money... Had pork ribs with a glass of cider and price was only 10 pounds... Food was very tasty... Bar area is very good... Its quite a open place in dining area...

This place offers reasonably priced food as well as drinks. I had gone there for breakfast and had a filling one. The service was incredibly quick and the food was served in no time. The dÃcor was top notch and the ambience was also quite good. The quality of food was also excellent.

This place always has so many things on offer that it becomes difficult for a person such as me to come to a conclusion. Everything on the menu comes with chips. On Wednesdays, the restaurant offers curry to its customers. Two slices of brown bread, both un-buttered and the worst slices of pork I have ever tasted were served to us as though the staff was obliging us. The burger looked reasonably decent however, I would still not recommend this place.

The place is done up so well. The interiors are beautiful and the restaurant is rather spacious. The atmosphere one finds within is much better than any of the pricey places within this city. The food is also very aptly priced and not in the least costly. The alcohol is cheap as well. A good visit.

Contrary to the reputation of a pub, this place is for a quiet night out. Not very strident or spirited. On the upside, the place still gives you a camouflage of being a pub yet allows you to sit with your friends and talk over drinks which are reasonably priced. The staff is welcoming, could be more welcoming and would sure attract certain crowd looking for such a place!.
