This is actually one of the best Fish &chips places is London! For take away! Quality is amazing and fresh cut fries! The portion of fries is for 2 actually; i always ask for half...! Love the cypriot family that runs this place many many years. Must try!
This fish bar is well-known for their quick and friendly service. My favorite dish is the BBQ spare ribs, which are generously coated in sauce and very meaty. The meat is tender and practically falls off the bone. They tend to be quite busy on market days (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays), so I recommend taking a stroll through the market and then bringing some of their delicious food home.
I used to dine at this restaurant frequently. They generously donated a free meal in a local raffle that I was fortunate enough to win. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that the meal was inedible. As a loyal customer, I now choose to visit a different fish and chip shop on Roman Road. It's a shame that this restaurant, Saucy Kippers, has lost my business.
The service was lovely, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. However, the food was terrible. The chips were definitely cooked in old oil. The spicy wings had a very strong smell of fish and had a very distinctive taste. It was rather awful. On the plus side, the battered sausage and fish cake were good. Best fish and chip shop the owner always looks after me and he knows my love of pickle onions sorts me out a jar when i go in they are great Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
