The restaurant is tucked away in the Kanarien wing, offering a lovely meal paired with wine. Despite it being a Tuesday night, the place was bustling with patrons enjoying a glass of wine with a charcuterie board or cheese plate. I opted for the duck confit paired with a glass of wine topped with a delectable apple crumble. The dish was incredibly delicious and the portion size was generous. The only drawback was that it felt like there weren't enough servers on staff as they seemed quite overwhelmed.

This restaurant is amazing with incredibly friendly staff! Many thanks to the lovely João! He made our dining experience at Nicolas simply perfect.

After a meeting in Canada sq. on the off channels and inquired about a tequila on the display. the gentleman who served me a pleasure to speak with was so knowledgeable about the product, production and how the flut was reached and recommended enemigo tequila, which was excellent at tasting. yes, maybe I would have bought the product cheaper online, but not by much after the porto and without the great service and the experience of surfing some rare and high-end wines and spirituosen. will definitely return.

I travel down to London often for afternoon management meetings at HSBC, and usually have to squeeze past the crowds on the move at lunchtime in the Canada Square Mall (folk are often queuing for takeaways). I know exactly where I'm going to Nicolas Wine Bar, because it's tucked away from the noise, its layout is simple but elegant (chic), and the staff are equally effortless in the way they handle restaurant goers. Part of me doesn't want to say this, because I'd rather keep the secret, but too late now...

This is a charming spot in the Wharf where you can enjoy a nice bottle of wine with cheese and meats. The prices for the wine are reasonable and you can relax and chat all night without feeling obligated to spend a lot of money.
