Despite it being a Tuesday night, the place was bustling with patrons enjoying a glass of wine with a charcuterie board or cheese plate. I opted for the duck confit paired with a glass of wine topped with a delectable apple crumble. The dish was incredibly delicious and the portion size was generous. The only drawback was that it felt like there weren't enough servers on staff as they seemed quite overwhelmed.

I know exactly where I'm going to Nicolas Wine Bar, because it's tucked away from the noise, its layout is simple but elegant (chic), and the staff are equally effortless in the way they handle restaurant goers. Part of me doesn't want to say this, because I'd rather keep the secret, but too late now...
