Description

Mudmee, a quaint Thai restaurant off Artillery Passage in London, receives a mix of reviews. Some diners praise the delicious food and friendly service, mentioning dishes like tom yum gong suppe and kokosreis. However, others express disappointment in portion sizes and quality, noting burnt and bland flavors. Despite the varying opinions, Mudmee stands out for its authentic Thai cuisine in a cozy setting. It is recommended for those looking for a unique dining experience away from the hustle and bustle of Liverpool Street station.

First time in London, went to this restaurant for dinner as it was close to our accommodation. We ordered Green Thai curry with 2 portions of sticky rice and Pai Thai noodles with chicken. Service time was super quick. Food was tasty, specially the green Thai curry. The Pad Thai noodles, however was a bit too oily and also the portion size could be better, it was quite less. Total bill was 30 pounds. The place is a bit small, we had our baby and stroller with us, it was a bit tight to fit in the stroller around the table. But otherwise okay, overall satisfactory experience (mainly for the food). Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Run of the mill food . Management treatment of staff not good. Management themselves very poor . Asked for my bill they demanded tip in cash and I was told there is no service charge but they want a tip in cash . toilets were infested with flies ,no soap, no way to dry your hands upstairs I saw people sleeping . Very poor hygiene all round . Would not go again.

Very good little Thai discovered quite by chance. Stir-fried noodles to die for at an unbeatable price. Very accommodating staff. We had just arrived in London and had a problem with exchange (old note), we were short £1 pounds to pay the bill in cash, the boss gave us a gift.

Definitely get 86 SEE IEW GAI. Stir fried rice vermicelli noodles with chicken slices. Absolutely amazing. This wasn’t what I ordered, I liked mine but loved what my friend got!! Amazingly fast service. They did repeat 2x there is no service charge. I’d rather them add the service charge then feel pressured to tip. Overall the place is great. One thing that was a bit disappointing about only 2 spring rolls for £7 but to be fair they were duck. Regardless I’d really recommend going.
