A fantastic bar. Lovely feel on the inside- lots of different rooms- and a sneaky cocktail bar upstairs. Sometimes even a table tennis too. Also amazing london lager.
Really lovely Bar at Wiltons and reasonably priced too. Also eco friendly with the cups that can be reused. Nice atmosphere.
I feel bad reviewing this place in case it drives up the attendance and I can't get in when I'm back in London in August; however I'm not vain enough to think that anyone will take much notice of this. This is the place you hope to find when you are on holiday, but rarely do; tucked away in an alley a mile East of the Tower of London, this is a bar of unique character and wit, formed from an eighteenth century terrace, which has joyfully hardly been touched since its days as a refuge for sailors from Nelson's navy....great range of drinks and charming staff, but the real asset is being attached to Wilton's music lounge, a fantastic venue that truly deserves support. Google it.... It's a fascinating story. I saw the show there last Saturday and it was a great experience. A real asset for London's burgeoning inner East and likely to remain chav-free.
The music is perfect, the bar is absolutely beautiful with really friendly staff. My nights out has never been more fun.
Great selection including Aspalls cider and Black Isle Porter on tap. The evening aperitivi by donation is a great idea and the perfect amount for a nibble with a drink. Nice mix of people all ages, styles. Lovely bar staff. One bar tender checked that my friend had liked the wine recommended whilst walking past. Be aware: in the cold winter months, try and sit away from the tables around the entrance as the wind makes it quite cold.
