This Turkish grill is absolutely fantastic! We went here because Da Tayabs was too crowded, and I'm so glad we did. It’s located on the same road and offered us a delightful experience. We had our own private room, and the staff took great care of us. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked over open coal burners. What on earth happened.. This was once such a good place BUT its under new management I persume and its terrible...Staff dont understand simple requests/English have to be told everything, food was lukewarm NOT fresh Its a utter joke and to think I will pay Service Charge. Such a shame. It was soo embarassing I even took my family there. Even the deco changed made it look tacky the list is endless View all feedback.

Went in as I felt like a snack so ordered a lahmacun and paid £1 extra as the prices seem to have changed over the new year which isn’t an issue but the food was terrible in taste and quantity was ridiculous like they’re saving of keema/mince meet. As always the service staff are miserable faced.
At went to Maeda’s with a friend and it didn’t disappoint! The food was lovely and the staff were warm and welcoming. The restaurant is extremely spacious and can host a number of events such as birthdays and family dinners after Jummah. We shared a mixed meat platter with succulent lamb chops, chicken wings, lamb and chicken shawarma, rice and mixed salad and we were still unable to finish it. The mocktails are also lovely and we were offered complimentary Turkish tea to finish off a really relaxing dining experience. I would definitely recommend Maedah to family and friends and look forward to returning soon.
Mashallah Best food ever had in East London. The behaviour of waiter was very nice.
