Goodman's Field is a popular spot for a relaxed drink in a calm neighborhood with friendly and attentive staff, perfect for enjoying the sun. The food quality at this location is inconsistent, with some items being subpar while others are praised for being tasty. Was Anonym at Goodman's Field (Wetherspoon) a mag?
Went here on a very busy morning for breakfast. The staff were cheery and helpful and coped well with the large influx of people from the many hotels nearby. We waited minutes for our food which I think is pretty reasonable considering the amount of orders. It was hot, tasty and served with a smile and you can have a pint or during your wait. So, my thanks to the staff. Well done View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Goodman's Field (Wetherspoon):
Useful location, out of the way of the busy area near the Tower of London, but still easily accessible. Decor looked a bit shabby and maybe not refurbished for years or so. Several local real ales on, food order came quickly and was ok although a number of things missing off the menu. Not too busy even though it was dinner time on a Sunday night. Ok for a stop off and some food. Not as cheap as many Wetherspoons thou... View all feedback.
This is a budget-friendly restaurant where you get what you pay for. The location is good and the food is decent, though it's not high-end. The service is quick and efficient. Overall, it's a no-frills dining experience.
Bouncer asked me and my brothers (27-16) for ID to enter even though it was 7pm and families are meant to be welcome until 9... He then changed his mind and let us in but threatened to kick us out if we drunk alcohol even though I had my ID on me. He returned to our tables multiple times even though we'd caused no trouble so I feel he was discriminating against us just because we're young. We would've have gone elsewhere if we weren't so tired and hungry as we found his attitude very off putting and we will definitely avoid this particular pub in future.
I stayed in London recently at the Leonardo Tower Bridge, which is a stone's throw away from this Wetherspoons. The aim of my stay was to attend a weekend conference at the same hotel so I wasn't aiming to venture far into London and ideally wanted somewhere nearby to have some dinner after an tiring but pleasant day. I ate here for three nights in a row as it was good food at a decent price and ensured that I was able to eat whilst it not being a priority, where I ate as long as it was tasty and reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised at this Wetherspoons. Considering it is in London, and despite being busy, there was always a table free. It's clean and has a great atmosphere. I ordered via the app to my table every day and I did not experience any delay in getting my meal. My drinks always came out quickly and my meal followed a decent amount of time afterwards. The food was always hot, well cooked and enjoyable. Just what you want when cramming in a dinner before the rest of your evening. Cheap, cheerful and relaxing I totally recommend this venue! It was a pleasure to eat here.
