Feedback
Doppio offers a trendy and charming café with great coffee and a spacious seating area. Customers rave about the impressive roast quality and friendly staff. The coffee beans and machines available for purchase add to the experience. Despite a few negative reviews about service, the majority of customers love the coffee and atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot for coffee enthusiasts. The relaxed ambiance, delicious treats, and knowledgeable baristas make Doppio a top choice for a coffee break in London. The perfect spot to enjoy a high quality cappuccino and browse their selection of coffee equipment.
I was asked to re post this review today, I assume this is because the company complained about the negative review I posted, this means the image I posted of their out to lunch sign was lost. I 've spent thousands with Doppio through the years bought my new ECM machine from them, went on their barista course with my partner, pretty much bought all my coffee from them for the past two years and I can honestly say I will never set foot in there again. I have noticed the staff being a lot less friendly in the past few visits but yesterday took the biscuit. I walked 40 minutes across the river from my home to their shop to get my steps in and pick up a kilo bag of beans. Despite this being 1pm in the afternoon (and the shop was supposed to be open) I was met with a sign stating that they are out to lunch . I waited for half an hour for them to open the door and sell me some beans in the middle of the day. When the employee finally came to the door he just opened it and walked out, past us poor customers queuing outside and went to get something from a local cash and carry for 15 minutes. To make this clear he was sitting inside with the doors locked while his customers queued outside at a time the place was supposed to be open. Time is the one commodity that is more valuable than coffee and I am absolutely livid that this person wasted 30 minutes of mine, he just smirked and said nothing when I complained. I don 't normally do rants on social media, the only reason i 'm going public with this is because I emailed the owner directly and he didn 't bother to reply in the past 24 hours. AVOID this place at all costs.
Sound atmosphere and really great staff! Had a really nice morning chatting to one of the barista’s about the coffee they use in the coffee shop! Will definitely be back!
This is a nice small Coffee shop with loads to buy from the point of having expensive coffee beans to the coffee ground or simply have it there.
The coffee at this restaurant is excellent and the prices are reasonable, especially for London. The atmosphere is friendly and it's a great spot to get some work done on the weekend, thanks to the free wifi. They also offer a variety of baked goods. Additionally, they have a wide selection of equipment and items for making coffee at home. Overall, one of the best coffee shops I've come across.
This coffee warehouse not only sells a variety of coffee makers and offers servicing for professional machines, but also operates as a charming and trendy café. They have a selection of delicious tidbits to enjoy alongside your perfect cappuccino, latte, flat white, and more. The seating area is roomy, with various tables and chairs available for purchase, making it suitable for both large groups and individuals looking to relax. It's easy to picture oneself spending hours here working, especially with the pleasant background jazz music playing at a comfortable volume. And most importantly, the coffee is fantastic!
