Feel like they try and be pretentious by adding seasoning and garnish on food, which tasted extremely bog standard to start with. Would not recommend.

I waited for 20 minutes to be told that someone would be with me shortly, and then waited another 20 minutes before I had to get up and search for a staff member myself. Despite ordering drinks, none were brought to our table. When our food finally arrived, we were not given any cutlery and had to ask for it. The only positive aspect of our experience was the employee Veronica, who did her best in a severely understaffed environment. It is unacceptable for a large chain like this to have only 2 or 3 staff members working on a busy Thursday night. This is not the first time I have seen this happen, and it is unfair that employees like Veronica have to deal with upset customers. Brera, please give Veronica the recognition she deserves with a raise.

It took ages to get served and eventually when we did the pizza came up with no plates which we had to ask for. They then forgot two plates of salad and a glass of wine which we had to remind them about about. The service charge came to nearly £5 which I wouldn’t have minded paying if it had been good service but it wasn’t. To top it all I forgot to put my loyalty points on when I was paying so when I went up to the counter with the receipt she just said it was too late which I didn’t find very helpful.

The woman working behind the counter seemed more interested in chatting with her colleagues than serving me. It felt like she was doing me a favor by taking my order. I purchased two slices of red velvet cake, but when I tried to take them out of the box, most of the icing got stuck to the top. The cake itself was very dry and could have used the icing. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this place.

However, my recent experience was saved by Khelvan, who provided excellent and attentive service. He swiftly addressed my concerns, including a dessert on the house to make up for my complaints about the food and finding a fly in my drink. Despite the issues with the food, my sister and I plan to return because of the exceptional service we received from Khelvan. It would be ideal to see the food quality return to its previous level.
