Rude manager on the door . According to the new rules, She came across to me very rude no greeting no smiling she wasn’t helpful at all she was pointing the finger on me and she wasn’t helping me at all . There was no menus and didn’t explain the offers . Tables was really dirty and the environment was unfriendly. Next time I’ll try the bar opposite View all feedback.
My friend and I met at Canary Wharf for our first get together for months and we wandered into the Slug Lettuce to ask if they could do us a snack and a drink and they couldn't have been more helpful, especially when we asked if we could move away from an open door as it had gone rather chilly! Shannon looked after us very well with some helpful suggestions and our food and drinks arrived quite promptly. We sat and chatted and felt very comfortable there. Nice and clean, plenty of space between the tables and the background music was nice and low so we could hear ourselves speak.
We didn't have a booking on a busy Saturday night but someone helped us to find a table. We gave our check-in details for covid restrictions and the table service was good. Would highly recommend.

I went in here for a drink yesterday, they seem to have a strict system in place about seating, ordering, one way systems etc. Which would be fine, were there any signs or staff helping you navigate it. I had waited for some time at the door with nobody coming to speak to me despite staff being around and looking at me with no attempt to direct me. Then from entering to ordering all I got were snappy staff being really rude. I never even ordered anything, I figured my money was better spent elsewhere.
