A lovely place to stop off for pizzas and other assorted snacks if you're in the neighbourhood (or not). They're very family friendly and don't mind if you spend forever deciding between their delicious selection of tartines, pizzas and calzones. They also have small select bundles of fresh produce and meats and salamis to take away if you get peckish later. View all feedback.

Bottega is currently enjoying the influx of traffic in the neighborhood thanks to the Annie Leibovitz exhibition. Due to limited options, my friends and I decided to have lunch at Bottega. Earlier in the year S celebrated her birthday at Bottega Prelibato in Shoreditch. It was the best Italian food I’ve eaten outside of Italy. I couldn’t stop thinking about it for months afterwards and kept meaning to take Mr Man but life kept getting in the way. Bottega has very friendly staff, delicious food for any time of the day, an impressive wine selection and, most...read more
So we thought it was nice to try something local. we had passed this small Italian restaurant in the quiet small suburb of wapping several times. I could have tried to weave a history of the many that we had to keep for this restaurant, but to be honest, it was very easy to find. what is likely to explain something, why it is very, very crowded at the end of our lunch.
The restaurant is stunning with a limited menu offering good food and a great wine selection. The staff is very polite and there is also an Italian deli next door for more dining options.

The decor and ambiance were lovely, but the food itself was mediocre. It took 45 minutes for my chicken burger and chips to arrive, even though the restaurant was only half full. I can only imagine how slow service would be if it were busier. However, Bottega's lunch menu offers good value for money. The portion size was generous, although the chicken was a bit thin. It seems that the kitchen may be underutilized and not equipped to handle larger crowds. Overall, I would not consider returning.
