Was Golden Lion at Etta Place Cider a mag?
This restaurant is a hidden gem! We tried the cider tasting flight, which was similar to a wine tasting experience. Robert guided us through the preparation process and shared about apple growing in Central Utah. The apples used in the ciders are locally sourced, adding to the high quality of the beverages. The variety of ciders offered is exceptional and unique. We highly recommend trying them out! View all feedback.
What Gilya Bisk dislikes about Etta Place Cider:
I wanted to really like this place. What honestly bothers me is the customer service. They wouldn’t do a tasting so we bought 2 bottles based on the description from one of the owners. Didn’t like the taste so we wanted to swap the unopened one for another option- we weren’t allowed to claiming it was against the law. I looked it up, it wasn’t true. View all feedback.
I recently visited this cidery and had a tour and tasting. Besides getting to try some of their delicious ciders (which are now available at liquor stores in Utah for special occasions), it was really interesting to hear about their future plans and learn about the process of turning apples into cider. The cidery and business are located in a stunning area near Capitol Reef National Park in Torrey, Utah. Ann and Robert did a great job explaining everything, making the trip worthwhile.
We did the tour and tasting wonderful experience. The cider is great and the people are very friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend visiting, and look forward to tasting there again soon.
If you're in the area for Capitol Reef, do yourself a favor and take a stop at this lovely cidery. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the cider is eve more delightful. If able, try the barrel-aged batch! We took home as much cider as we could carry, and will be back for more! 10/10, would recommend to a friend.
