The staff is friendly and attentive, prices are reasonable, and the environment is clean. The carvery is outstanding, and then there's Derek! What more could you ask for?
I had a wonderful dining experience! I enjoyed the standard carvery, which came with a giant Yorkshire pudding and a drink included. There was so much delicious food! I want to give a special thanks to Derek, who served at the carousel. He brought me some extra items to accompany my meal, and he was really friendly and made me smile!
3 of us had a lot of coal, and we all agreed that it was very good to cook meat to perfection, vegetables delicious and the heavy just delicious! The 4th had a burger and could not mistake him either. We enjoyed our visit, the staff was friendly and cheerful. All round good experiences, will definitely go back when we are in Torquay.
The Carvery here is very good for the price and better than the other budget carvery nearby. You have homemade Yorkshire puddings and a good selection of fresh veg and beautiful gravy. Service can be a bit slow at the bar, but the staff is friendly, especially the carvery cooks. The only thing to leave is the toilets, quite grim
