I met up with a friend for coffee the other day at this café. It's strange because I've lived in the area for 20 years and had never been here before. There are plenty of coffee shops nearby, so I never really thought about it. This café is a second cup franchise, so customers know what to expect in terms of the coffee and food - it's consistent with all other second cup locations. However, the interior of the café really needs a revamp. The furniture is worn out and could use some updating, as well as a fresh coat of paint on the walls. The overall atmosphere of the place is a bit dingy, which made me opt for one of the softer chairs to sit in.

In a shopping street of longo’s, this is a cozy place for a light breakfast and coffee while they pick up with the dressing. the bakery is average, although the white cheddar and the Chive scene is delicious. coffee is usually fresh and the specialties coffee are well prepared. However, we have noticed that the coffees are not always consistent. for example, we enjoyed several successive days of paradiso (medium roast). one day the middle coffee was a Colombian mixture, and it tasted like a really dark roast coffee, bitter and muddy. the participant gave us very kindly another coffee that was more to our pleasure, but this is just an example that her favorite coffee could change from day to day.
