The seats are getting a little worse for wear and there always seems to be uncleared spaces but the staff are friendly and inviting and make you feel they are h... read more The seats are getting a little worse for wear and there always seems to be uncleared spaces but the staff are friendly and inviting and make you feel they are happy you chose to drop in. They carry the standard Second Cup pastries...most really good....and...the usual variety of coffees ready to pour and tasting fresh. I don't order espresso or cappuccino but if they are at least as good as the carafe coffee they should be fine. The washroom looks like it receives a lot of traffic and perhaps should be checked more regularly.

But there are a lot of Coffee shops in the area so I guess I just never got round to...it. Its a franchised Second Cup, so you know what your going to get before you order so the coffee and eats are fine and just the same as all the other Second Cups. But the place itself really needs a renovation. At the very least they should chuck out all the furniture, replace them with newer/cleaner ones and put some paint on the walls. But what the place really needs is a whole new renovation. The place is just grotty, and it made me itch sitting in one the soft chairs.

They offer standard Second Cup pastries, which are usually delicious, along with fresh coffee ready to be poured. I did not try the espresso or cappuccino, but if they are as good as the brewed coffee, they should be satisfactory. The restroom seems to be in high demand and may benefit from more regular cleaning.

There are... read more I met up with a friend for coffee the other day at this café. It's strange because I've lived in the area for 20 years and had never been here before. There are plenty of coffee shops nearby, so I never really thought about it. This café is a second cup franchise, so customers know what to expect in terms of the coffee and food - it's consistent with all other second cup locations. However, the interior of the café really needs a revamp. The furniture is worn out and could use some updating, as well as a fresh coat of paint on the walls. The overall atmosphere of the place is a bit dingy, which made me opt for one of the softer chairs to sit in.
