What Adrianna M doesn't like about Mr Jerk:
Ordered through Skip. Jerk chicken was horrible. I requested oxtail gravy on the rice, they drowned the entire meal with some kind of gravy. This is just bland sub par food. Maybe chef was having a bad day, so I guess I get a bad meal. I had high hopes, but first and last for me. View all feedback. What Estell Stiedemann likes about Mr Jerk:
Friendly staff, huge portions. The ordered Ruck chicken for two came with two huge containers of rice and peas. Standing in taste. Jerk chicken is a wet sauce, not dry so well to know, depending on your preferences. But well tasted. Coleslaw is not so impressive... but this is our taste. Also ordered chicken rot. Huge part, tons of chicken. Nice. Beef redi also huge and good. View all feedback.

read moreA recent visit to this Ontario restaurant that specializes in takeout revealed a mix of reviews. While some customers were disappointed with their meals, citing bland food, fatty meat, and lack of gravy as issues, others had nothing but praise for the delicious jerk chicken, jerk pork, oxtail gravy, and other menu items. The affordability, efficient service, and generous portion sizes were highlighted as positives, with one customer even dubbing it the best jerk chicken spot in Toronto. The slow-cooked jerk pork, fried plantains, and flavorful roti were also singled out for praise. Despite some minor shortcomings like cash-only payment and inconsistent gravy portions, the majority of reviewers seemed to enjoy their experience and recommended the restaurant for its tasty and authentic Caribbean dishes.
