Golden Gecko Coffee - Toronto

I used to visit this restaurant occasionally after my cats' vet appointments and I loved the Star Wars theme. It had been a while since my last visit, but I was in the area so I decided to stop by for some ice cream. I was extremely disappointed to find that the Star Wars theme was no longer present. This was the one thing that set this place apart and made it special. Now it just feels like a generic coffee shop. To make matters worse, they only had chocolate and vanilla ice cream - none of the unique flavors they used to offer. It's a shame that they got rid of the one thing that made them stand out, especially since the drinks were just average. I used to tolerate it because of the theme, but now there's no reason for me to come back. Really saddened by this change.

I visited a new cafe today and was blown away by their incredible variety of pastries. You must try their amazing Almond Croissants - they are outstanding!

I discovered this restaurant in 2017 when they were at a different location near Baby Point. They are still just as good as ever, and the staff are so friendly.

Very nice local coffee shop, staff are very nice. Coffee was good and pastries are freshly baked daily.

Great coffee, lots of food and bakery items available, staff is super professional and nice. Also it was open on Canada Day!
