Mr Jerk - Toronto

I don't know who the new cook or owners are but the food I ordered was terrible. I had the jerk pork dinner and all my meat was pure fat and it didn't even taste like jerk. Definitely no where near as good as it used to be.

I'm just passing through and my daughter recommended I try this place. So I order a jerk chicken meal and she has the sandwich. In addition I I have a Snapple mango ginger drink. Now I'm a big eater and although there is a fair amount of chicken in my meal there is a considerable amount of rice. You won't go away hungry. The taste is alright. The orders are all to go. The key takeaway is the value you receive for your money. You can't beat it. It cost me USD $17.11.

The chicken was quite dry and not particularly flavourful. The rice and beans were good.

I ordered skip the dishes. food came in a regular plastic bag. The bag was open and had not been sealed. My soup and or my meal could have been opened and i would have no way of knowing. Am i to assume that all delivery guy are clean and ethical. A few years back, some nut job was going around spraying a home made concoction of urine and feces' on produce in the supermarkets and killing people. Have you never seen videos online of nasty people spitting in food and worst. Every other place seals and or ties their bags. Why the hell cant you. Mark my words... this practice is a recipe for disaster.

This place is a hidden gem. I bought food twice and wasn't disappointed. Service is excellent, food is tasty and very reasonably priced.
