The croissants were perfectly prepared, along with a variety of other baked goods and sweets such as Danishes, Madeleines, butter tarts, and cookies. Some items were served with sourdough, ice cream, sorbet, and jams. There were also some take-home options that I didn't get to try. This restaurant offers a nice balance of flavors, uses high-quality ingredients, has friendly staff, and a clean and charming atmosphere. Their viennoiseries are beautifully made and delicious, with my favorite being the kouign amann and raspberry croissant. The cinnamon knot is also amazing, with a wonderful combination of cinnamon both inside and out, and great textures. They also offer bread, but I always find myself too tempted by the pastries.
The pastries are delicious, would go back again. My favorite is the Kouign Amann.
I first discovered the Goûter stand at the Eglinton Farmers Market and decided to place an online order for the upcoming weekend. I opted for the box of 6 croissants, which is currently priced at $19.50 on their website (excluding taxes and additional charges depending on your selection of 6 croissants and delivery). Pick up was quick and easy, and the employee who assisted me was prompt and friendly. The croissants themselves were delicious; I chose the raspberry, Nutella, and butter flavors. They were warm, flaky, and generously filled. These were definitely some of the best croissants I have tasted in the area. I highly recommend giving them a try!
Really fresh and tasty French patisserie. Ordered a raspberry croissant and it was buttery, flaky and full of flavor. Will be back!
If not being one of the only places, if not the only place to get Kouign-Amann in Toronto makes Gouter worth the trip. The frozen croissants are the very best in the city. Not cheap but the quality and finished product is unbeatable. Weird opening days and their excellent breads are not always available.

Wonderfully creative and delicious assortment of croissants and many other baked goods. Hopefully soon to be a neighbourhood staple.P.S. The service at Goûter is too kind. One time I ordered online and a glitch in the system placed the order on a day they were closed. The staff went out of their way to contact me to deliver a fresh order on said off day, free of extra charge and even though they were closed!
Came on a Sunday at 1130am. No line up and staff that were working were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Croissants were absolutely delicious. Family fave is their cinnamon knot. We should have ordered a dozen to go. Tried their jalapeno cheese croissant .. it was okay. Jalapeno wasn't spicy at all and the cheese was tasteless (probably because mozzarella was used) a sharper cheese would have been perfect. Having the jalapeno cut into tiny pieces and distributed throughout the croissant would also have been better than 1 slice of the pepper on top. Croissant/muffin was also delicious and the custard centre was flavored really well. Nothing was overly sweet except the almond Nutella croissant but it was still delicious. Breads, babka, jams and soups are also available for purchase. The space is nice and airy and has a larger waiting section at the front so you're not on top of anyone while waiting in line.Highly recommend a visit. Buy more than 1 item so you can sample all the tastes and textures. You won't be disappointed.
The croissants were delicious! I particularly enjoyed the selection of flavors, especially the nutella and the earthy one. I can't wait to try the others next time!
The croissants and pastries at this restaurant are absolutely incredible. I can't wait to come back again!
Great place to have a bite. Delicious raspberry croissant. A balance amount of raspberry. A great selection of sourdough, I tried the original and olive and they were on point. The olive sourdough flavour is a bit strong so I suggest you mixt it with any kind of spread or cured meets if you prefer. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful answering questions and providing advice on what is good, did I mention the raspberry croissant was good? Well, they recommended it and I loved it. I'm definitely going back to try it all, especially since they have a Thanksgiving menu that looks delicious.
