This restaurant offers a nice balance of flavors, uses high-quality ingredients, has friendly staff, and a clean and charming atmosphere. Their viennoiseries are beautifully made and delicious, with my favorite being the kouign amann and raspberry croissant. The cinnamon knot is also amazing, with a wonderful combination of cinnamon both inside and out, and great textures. They also offer bread, but I always find myself too tempted by the pastries.
The pastries are delicious, would go back again. My favorite is the Kouign Amann.
I first discovered the Goûter stand at the Eglinton Farmers Market and decided to place an online order for the upcoming weekend. I opted for the box of 6 croissants, which is currently priced at $19.50 on their website (excluding taxes and additional charges depending on your selection of 6 croissants and delivery). Pick up was quick and easy, and the employee who assisted me was prompt and friendly. The croissants themselves were delicious; I chose the raspberry, Nutella, and butter flavors. They were warm, flaky, and generously filled. These were definitely some of the best croissants I have tasted in the area. I highly recommend giving them a try!
Really fresh and tasty French patisserie. Ordered a raspberry croissant and it was buttery, flaky and full of flavor. Will be back!
If not being one of the only places, if not the only place to get Kouign-Amann in Toronto makes Gouter worth the trip. The frozen croissants are the very best in the city. Not cheap but the quality and finished product is unbeatable. Weird opening days and their excellent breads are not always available.
