What YtFLS 1 doesn't like about Dark Horse Espresso:
The loaf was good and the coffee average; however none of that matters after the terrible service. We were waiting for our drinks at the designated pickup spot but found mine at a different place but when I asked for the other drink we ordered, they said they threw it away to the trash because no one had picked it up. Mind you only a few minutes had passed and it was obviously not at the pickup table but behind it. W... View all feedback. What Eileen Lau likes about Dark Horse Espresso:
I got some ground espresso from here for a gift. They only had whole beans packaged but they can grind to your desired level and reseal the bag so it remains fresh. There is more seating in the back that is hidden, and free WiFi. It's a good place to meet with friends or to work. Spacious, well lit, and the music is not too loud. Baked goods look good but I didn't try them. View all feedback.

read moreDark Horse is a charming café located in Chinatown, offering a cozy atmosphere with large communal tables and friendly staff. While some patrons were disappointed by additional charges for non-dairy milk and decaf coffee, others praised the quality of the coffee as being superior to larger chains. Despite some issues with order accuracy and pricing, Dark Horse is still a popular spot for many customers. The café also offers WiFi, hidden seating in the back, and a variety of dairy-free alternatives for drinks. Accessibility may be challenging for some, as the cafe's entrance has steps and some seating requires navigating stairs. Overall, Dark Horse is known for its exceptional coffee and pleasant ambiance, making it a favored destination for caffeine enthusiasts.
By far the best London fog in Toronto! It is a great spot to grab some caffeine or quick snack. The ham and cheese croissant is yummy too.

read moreThis is a nice place to come to catch up with friends, or get some work done. They have long communal tables, good for busting out the laptop.
I've been taking stock of some of my 5-star reviews and have seen this hanging out here. Seven years later, there is no way Dark Horse deserves 5 stars.
Dark Horse Espresso serves up your standard coffee with a wide selection of sandwiches (croissant and baguette) & pastries.
