Feedback
An eclectic mix of reviews paint a varied picture of this establishment. While some diners were unimpressed with the bland and greasy entrées, others found the starters to be delightful. The service received mixed reviews, with complaints of disappearing waitstaff contrasted by praises for attentive and friendly service. Despite some disappointing experiences, the casual atmosphere and flavorful food left a positive impression on many patrons. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a decent value for those looking for a nice evening out, indoors or out. Consider giving this spot a try for a mixed experience.
The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no means of checking a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to greet our table at all, so we were able to already decide on our dinner by the first time a server talked to us. It then took another 25-30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese and I wouldn't order any of it again. The beer was good and it seemed like a fun place. There was live music that was really good, but the whole place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation.
Had a good time, the seafood boil is the best thing on the menu. Didn't really enjoy the appetizers. Will definitely return for the seafood boil, great flavor, large portion and reasonable price.
Music was so loud the waitress struggled to take our order. Menu in the restaurant does not match online menu from their website.
Tina was our server and she was fabulous. Knowledgeable, attentive and fun. The food, ambience and service was great. We went before going to Soulpepper Theatre and were not rushed to get to a 7:30 performance. We will certainly go back!!
