One of my friends has a gluten allergy, and they were able to accommodate her with a beautiful selection of treats. We were served warm scones, plenty of jam and cream, a variety of cakes, sandwiches, and even a delicious slice of Christmas Cake. We also received a Christmas cracker as a fun touch. The service was attentive and we highly recommend this place.

We were also charged for breakfast that we did not eat. We decided to leave early and will not be returning.

The manager lacks management skills and is rude, abrupt, and talkative. The rooms are not clean, with stains everywhere and a dirty shower that is hard to turn... read more The manager lacks management skills and is rude, abrupt, and talkative. The rooms are not clean, with stains everywhere and a dirty shower that is hard to turn on. There are cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling. The food from the buffet meals varies in temperature, with some dishes cold, some warmish, and some nearly hot. The waiting staff in the dining room is slow. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great selection of sandwiches, scones with plenty of jam and clotted cream, great selection of cakes, sweets ect even a little glass of mulled wine. Staff went out of their way to make sure everything was ok and kept filling...up the tea pot for us which was lovely.. fantastic price .. Thankyou guys

Stayed for nights, room poor , we got up to the room you needed oxygen no lift and aprox steps to go up very old furniture ,very depressing room,water marks all... read more Stayed for nights, room poor , we got up to the room you needed oxygen no lift and aprox steps to go up very old furniture ,very depressing room,water marks all down the whole of the one wall,rust on bathroom plug...holes.dirty skirting boards,move bin in bath room was dirty,water just warm so cold showers,Walls were that thin could hear somebody snoring all night.Staff not friendly. Would not want to stay here again really needed a lot of TLC. Staff as well.
