From the cozy fireplace in winter to the warm welcomes from the staff and an outstanding menu, Eckhard's is our go-to spot for celebrations. While it features delicious German dishes, the menu offers much more. You can enjoy the best filet mignon on the lower Middle Peninsula and a variety of Italian options, thanks to the talented Italian chef in the kitchen. There's always something unexpected on the menu; one evening, we even encountered ostrich steaks! The house salad dressing is delightful, and the desserts are indulgent. What truly stands out for me is the attentive waiting staff. They remember customers' preferences from previous visits and provide excellent service without being intrusive. Although prices aren't low, they reflect the high quality of food and the exquisite nature of the dining experience. Give it a try!
